ICB Capital Management Ltd. is a fully owned subsidiary of Investment Corporation of Bangladesh. The company obtained license from the Securities and Exchange Commission to act as Issue Manager, Underwriter, Portfolio Manager and to carry out other merchant banking operations under the Securities and Exchange Commission (Merchant Banker and Portfolio Manager) Regulations, 1996. The company was incorporated under the Companies Act, 1994 on 5 December 2000 and obtained registration from the Securities & Exchange Commission on 16 October 2001. The company started its' operation from 01 July, 2002 upon issuance of gazette notification by the government. The Company has a separate Board of Directors comprising 3 members from the private sector having good academic qualification, expertise and experience in the field of business, finance and investment. The Managing Director of ICB is the Chairman of the Board. The company has excellent working environment being equipped with logistics and computer facilities. |
